About Me

Technical Director

With more than 25 years in IT, 10 years in broadcasting and now working as a digital storyteller, I’m passionate about seeing the incremental change in peoples confidence as they connect their story of who they are into what and why they do what they do.

As a facilitator at The Story People collective, I love helping people craft and discover their hidden gems of stories that shape their lives and businesses.

As an educator, I understand the journey from a second chance learners perspective.  Leaving school with no qualifications, I retrained as an adult student in the IT career where my greatest success was rolling out the first virtual learning centre (distance learning course) across New Zealand and helping more than 12,000 second chance learners earn their own certificates – proof that they were someone who counts.

Becoming a professional speaker has been an exciting change for me, taking my stories and crafting them for the stage has been a game changer.  If you are looking for a speaker who is focussed on transformational change and culture change within organisations then feel free to get in touch.

In Front Of The Camera Or Behind The Camera

It doesn’t matter if you want to be in front of the camera or behind the camera, I work with both ideologies, sometimes it’s a combination of them both. The Pete Ward Show is both an immersive experience and an educational journey to become comfortable in front of the camera.

I have broadcast and videoed thousands of people and thousands of videos, countless live streams, studio shoots, location broadcasts, interviews, advertorials and TV Shows.

I HAVE NO FORMAL TRAINING – Yes I’m proud to say that out loud. It means if I can do it, then so can you.

I facilitate workshops and online courses that help you grow and position you into your best version of you ever. Changes happens when you have the chance to change.
